Denver East Summer Baseball
jr. RBI and Tournament Team
The Denver East Angels will field a Jr. RBI/Tournament team this summer. This summer team is a great way for incoming freshmen and rising sophomores to get exposure to East Angels baseball! This summer opportunity will consist of playing in the RBI-sponsored league, potentially the COBSL League, and two in-state tournaments. In addition, our Denver East Coaches will be running a summer development program for all our baseball athletes.

League and Team Information
- Games will begin in late May/early June and will conclude at the end of July.
- Games will be scheduled Monday-Sunday, with ~3 practices/developmental sessions per week.
- Coach Danny Lynch and Danny Angel, Denver East’s JV coaches, will head this year's Jr. RBI/Tournament squad. Denver East’s varsity coaches will run the developmental training sessions.
- We anticipate a high demand for players for this summer team, which we estimate will consist of about 16 players. If interest is higher than expected, we will consider adding a second team.
- Cost per player will be $350, payable to Friends of Denver East Baseball (FODEB), which is the Denver East Booster Club.
- This cost will cover a hat, jersey, practice/game baseballs, equipment, and field maintenance supplies. Players will be responsible for their pants, belt, socks, etc.
- MLB franchises underwrite RBI, and the Colorado Rockies underwrite the Denver league.
